In 7 Days I Went From Youth Nonprofits to a Possible Enterprise Client. Here's How.

Yesterday I went ski touring in the Swiss Alps with one of my closest mates. Long tours, big mountains. This stuff comes up.

He asked what I was doing these days. Since you ask โ€” I have a service where I come in and run your AI ops. $4,995/month. He said, "That sounds like something pretty much every company needs."

I thought about that for a second. Yeah. I guess you're right.

His problem: extremely competent people in their domain, zero AI fluency, no software experience. Doing things the old-fashioned way. "Do you think you could help?" Absolutely. I don't know if I can solve every problem, but I'm probably better than what you have โ€” I'm living in Claude, Perplexity and Gemini 9 to 10 hours a day. Which is a slightly terrifying thing to say out loud.

He runs a large investment fund. His Bloomberg subscription probably costs more per month than my annual fee.

Here's the thing: 5 days ago I built this offer for youth empowerment nonprofits. Sent 25 custom Looms. Heard back from 2. Both said the same thing: no budget. One ED had ยฃ300 for her entire year's advertising budget. OK. That's enough data. Pivot.

In 7 days I've gone from youth empowerment โ†’ early-stage startups โ†’ possible enterprise client. After a ski tour.

I came home and added an Enterprise card to the site. Took 10 minutes. No agency, no developer, no ticket, no waiting. That ability to iterate your own offer in real time โ€” that's not a small thing. That's the whole game.

What I'm actually selling

Having someone on your team who can genuinely harness AI productivity is becoming a critical need. Most companies have nobody. The people who do know are either building their own thing or being paid like engineers.

A fractional model โ€” come in, audit the stack, build the layer, maintain it, leave when you're not needed โ€” makes more sense for most businesses than a full-time hire. I only need 100 great clients. I'm not worried about giving away the playbook.

The value isn't in knowing which tools exist. Everyone knows the tools. The value is in knowing how to wire them together for a specific company's specific workflow, and then staying responsible for that layer working.

That's the offer.

Day 2 scoreboard

Revenue: $0. Clients: 0. Prospects: 2 (maybe).

Day 3 tomorrow.

Drowning in ops? I take the list, I clear it, you breathe again. Right now I have capacity for 2โ€“3 founders.
